Blooming Success: 5 Communities with JMC Award-Winning Flowers!

JMC's Spring Manager's Meeting was held this week to discuss updates from Human Resources, Marketing, and the Maintenance Department. Marc Colburn spoke about seasonal grounds for spring and summer on behalf of maintenance.  

Marc Colburn is the Arborist and Grounds Superintendent for JMC. Marc has years of experience as a Massachusetts Certified Arborist and he makes our communities shine with outstanding curb appeal year-round. He designs and installs new outdoor spaces and promotes consistent and attractive landscaping across the portfolio.

Marc highlighted several communities throughout his presentation with examples of exceptional planting installation during the spring months and the consistent upkeep to maintain these beautiful flower beds throughout the summer months. 

Marc announced five winners for the 2022 summer season categorized for the most improved property, two of the best small sites, and two of the best large sites.

Beginning the Next Chapter: Welcome Bob Ruzzo

JMC is pleased to announce Bob Ruzzo as the next leader of our management company. After many years of dedicated service, our previous president, Kevin Young, recently retired. Kevin set a strong foundation that will drive JMC to continue to grow and succeed under Bob's leadership. 

Bob joins us as Executive Vice President- Property Management for John M. Corcoran & Company and the next President of Corcoran Management Company, Inc. Bob will serve as the primary business leader for the company's property management operations. He is responsible for achieving property, portfolio, and company profit objectives to promote growth within the property management division.

Bob comes with considerable experience in executive leadership at various organizations. These organizations include the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency, and MassHousing, where he held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Director for 11 years. Bob has also practiced law specializing in affordable housing, land use, and environmental matters. 

Outside of the office, Bob enjoys spending time with his family cheering on the Bruins at the Boston Garden or the Red Sox at Fenway Park, biking, and walking his Yellow Lab, Scout!
