JMC Participates in NAA's Residential Property Management Careers Week

JMC & Co celebrated NAA's Residential Property Management Careers Week everyday last week. This weeklong celebration was created to promote greater awareness about all the different careers in the apartment industry. Our employees enjoyed the social media challenge as well as The JMC Draw on Apartment Onsite Teams Day.

The week started with a social media challenge! All photo submissions from the properties can be sent in for a chance to win an Amazon gift card for every member of the winning team! JMC & Co kicked off the celebrations with Maintenance Monday. Our properties snapped pictures of their maintenance teams to post on social media and tell followers what makes their maintenance team so special.

TRIVIA: Shark Week is upon us! What is the name of the fishing boat in Jaws?

7/13 Trivia Answer: The popsicle. According to NPR, "Back in 1905, a San Francisco Bay Area [11-year-old] kid by the name of Frank Epperson accidentally invented the summertime treat. He had mixed some sugary soda powder with water and left it out overnight. It was a cold night, and the mixture froze.”

JMC & Co Summer Resident Events 2022

Our leasing staff does a fantastic job taking the time to put special resident events together and to coordinate with local businesses to make each event unique to the community. All the hard work has paid off as our JMC & Co communities have been enjoying all the fun summer kickoff celebrations for our residents!

The team at The Commons at SouthField Highlands worked diligently to put together a fantastic 10 year anniversary celebration of the property with a grand summer "gala" event. The team orchestrated a spectacular evening with a catered burger bar, bartender, face painting, and live music by Louie Bello to top it all off.
The residents of The Heights Amesbury enjoyed VIP access with front row seats to an outdoor summer concert on a warm summer night. The patio was filled with residents of all ages listening to the beat while enjoying food and drinks provided by the Amesbury team.

Mio Weymouth started off the summer with live music and an ice cream bar. Residents had the opportunity to create their own ice cream sundaes in the clubhouse and enjoy them while listening to music on the outdoor roof deck. The crew at Mio also set up a fun photo shoot spot with props for residents to strike a pose!

The Residences on Broadway had a very successful Block Party event in the front courtyard which was open to residents and the people of South Boston. The event stared with a fun fitness class led by Drew from MoveStudios, Boston's first mobile fitness studio! The party kept going with music by DJ JoJo from Kiss108 and booths were set up with local South Boston businesses. Bohdii Boutique, Boston's Best Dog Walkers, West Broadway Family Dental, Lincoln Tavern, Olga's Kafe, Stats Bar & Grill, Sunny Florists, Morganize It Solutions and more, all attended the event to tell residents more about their businesses. Foodie's Markets provided trays of food and Social Wines set up an inflatable pool filled with beverages for residents to enjoy as they explored the vendor booths.
