More Championships: Corcoran Management at Maintenance Mania 2019!

RHA Boston’s annual Maintenance Mania event showcases the best of skill, precision and speed among many of the maintenance technicians who keep Boston area apartment communities running strong. A series of maintenance tasks such as smoke alarm repair, key and lock adjustment, stove top cleaning and water heater repair among others. This event is not just a great chance for maintenance staff to showcase their talent and skills, but it also offers them a chance to compete for the National Championship at the NAA Conference and Exposition next June right here in Boston!

Since the events inception, Corcoran Management has put forth many skillful contestants from our maintenance teams, along with a plethora of spectators to cheer them on. Back in 2012, our own JP Davis claimed victory at Maintenance Mania here in Boston, and was selected to compete in the national competition against the best of the best from around the country. While JP didn’t take home the first prize, it was a truly incredible experience being recognized as one of the elite maintenance workers in all of the country!

This year, we are happy to announce that another one of our Corcoran incredible maintenance men will be heading back to National Qualifying with a chance to compete for the national title. Josh Perez of Pelham Apartments cleaned up and took home the most awards at Maintenance Mania along with the overall first place prize! Congratulations to an incredible performance by Josh – and we cannot wait to see what he does next time as he hopes to compete for the grand prize!

 

We also wanted to give a big thanks and shout out to all of our competitors. That list includes Alex Herrera, Chris Carlton, Mike Flaherty, Angel Figueroa, Alan Moraes, Luciano Cordeiro, Andy Cyr, Will Rivera-Padilla, Corey Wooten and Matt Didio. All of them did an amazing job representing Corcoran. One final shout out goes to all of our spectators who took time out of their busy schedules to come cheer for our guys competing. Corcoran even took him the top spirit award amongst the other management companies competing at Maintenance Mania. A sweep in the competition, and a sweep in the spirit!
