50 West Broadway Gets a Facelift!

In 2009, 50West Broadway, South Boston’s first multifamily apartment community, opened its doors and welcomed residents to 139 brand-new luxury apartment homes. Since the building’s inception – 50 West Broadway has become an integral part in the neighborhood and has spurred on numerous construction projects to bring more housing to a booming area that has a wide variety of restaurants, nightlife choices, recreational activities and conveniences.

While 50WB has withstood the test of time over the last eight years and maintains a sleek and modern look, we figured the time is now to introduce some new renovations that will brighten up our common areas and welcome home residents each night! Check out some of the renovations and upgrades that were completed recently!

Mosaic Tile Accent Wall

There is a common thought that bright and warm colors are sensors that can trigger happier thoughts or put someone in a good mood. We put that thought into action in our new resident entranceway at 50WB. Residents who get off of the neighboring MBTA Broadway Red Line Station will be greeted by an inviting and welcoming new mosaic tiled accent wall with colors and design meant to infuse positive thoughts. This glossy and silken wall creation has brought new wave of artistic flare and design to the community.

New Resident Clubroom and Lounge
                                     

Bright and warming colors aren’t just limited to our new entryway – we also wanted to bring this new fresh look to our resident clubroom and lounge area located right next to our office and outdoor courtyard. What was once a more secluded community space has now been opened up to accommodate the active worker and student residents looking to relax and get their work and studying done. Furnished with a comfortable selection of chase lounge chairs, plush couches, and a workspace resembling a conference room, 50 WB’s new clubroom is perfect for inspiring creativity. In addition – residents can access the internet through a new high-speed 5G wireless network that extends throughout the club room and even to the outdoor courtyard area.

Package Concierge Storage
                                     

Our award winning staff is on-site 7 days a week, but we know that sometimes our residents arrive home from their late night shift hoping to pick up their package after our leasing office closes at 6:00PM. That’s why we’ve added the Package Concierge system in order to store your packages until you can pick them up, no assistance required! So how does Package Concierge work you may ask, it’s rather quite simple. The top level of the parking garage at 50WB is home to the set of “lockers” that make up Package Concierge. When a delivery is made (whether its from UPS, FedEx, USPS or others) they will be delivered and stored securely in one of the randomly-assigned lockers. The resident will then get an email or text notification to their phone that will feature a unique code that is entered into a computer screen, and as long as the correct code is entered, the locker will open, and the package can be brought to your apartment upstairs!
